Sophy's story

Once upon time, there is a little duck named Sophy. She grown up with other three ducks: Franky, Blacky and Pretty. With Franky as the dad, these three ducks had some babies by the helping of Dad Bob.

A year past, it is still the time to have babies. At this point, Sophy decided to have baby without Dad Bob's help.

Everything goes fine. One day, after Mom Snow came back from Vancouver B.C. visiting her sister. She found out that Sophy was gone. The family blamed on Raccoons who ate three of their ducks in the past. The war with Raccoons continued for a while.

Two days later, Mom found that Sophy is back. She ate and played with her siblings for a while and went away again. Another time came, she did the same thing.

Finally, that day, Mom Snow and Dad Bob were all at home and Sophy came back again. She ate and played with others for a while and they had meeting talking to each other for a while and then, Sophy lead other three ducks away on the trail to other house which the neighbor moved out.

Mom decided to follow them to see where they were going and what they were doing.

Following the ducks through rough field, climbing the hills and walk through the road, Mom saw the ducks disappeared by the house and worried about to follow due to trespassing. She called Dad and he went out walking with Mom to the other road to find out what was going on.

On Star touch RD, they found the four duck in front of a house and talking. The house owner was sitting on their deck and having dinner. They said this is their first time to see the ducks and they are very pretty. Mom and Dad said thanks and left home.

A half hours later, the ducks came back home without Sophy. " She is out somewhere breeding." Dad said. "But the duck like them would not really sitting on the egg and have child. It will not last long. She will be back." He seemed very confident.

Couple days later, same thing happened. Sophy came back for breakfast and talked with her siblings and then left.

And so on... This morning, Mom Snow heard duck's kwack and got up seeing Sophy was in the yard by the pond seemed lonely. She asked Dad Bob to get up right away and let other ducks out and make sure there are food. She fall in sleep again.

When Dad Bob came out, Sophy already left and she did not come back till they are gone to the beach.

That is Sophy's story: a duck want to be a mommy. I wish her the best and wish her baby really come out and she can lead them come back to the house.

Wisdom

It is a waste of energy to be angry with a man who behaves badly, just as it is to be angry with a car that won't go.

Kids and ducks, fun!!

So Funny!!

Your Duck is Dead--
A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest.
After a moment or two, the vet shook his head and sadly said, "I'm sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away."
The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead," replied the vet..
"How can you be so sure?" she protested. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something."
The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.
The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.
The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck."
The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "$150!" she cried, "$150 just to tell me my duck is dead!" The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it's now $150."

Another two ducklings left home today

They left home today to my friend's house. I hope they are girls so they can give their new owner eggs. Good luck my ducklings!
